In the beginning of 2004, after 15. 000 La.Ga Bags produced over the "To

Love Is Not An Option" Editions, Krv Kurva Design, start thinking back to the

original square shape of 500x700 mm from where, the shape of La.Ga is

tooked, looking forward  to bring over the same material and construction

phylosophy a shape that  performed an absolute use of the squared area.

Openning it to more wide range of users, and perspectives; Like man. By

afection La.Ga was always been seen as a female bag, or a canvas.

The concept was finally to bring to the object a more accurate idea of the

simbolic value, for the user, of a new even more precious object than La.Ga

itself.

Set then by an idea that at that moment and until now condensed the

communication dialetic of Jorge Moita and Daniela Pais; "TheAward". for a

new bag, Ga.Lo bag.

Replicating

"TheAward" was drived for the puzzle, of putting the bag itself passed for the

second use as La.Ga Vs To Love Is Not An Option , Ga.Lo Vs "TheAward" as

based the piece as an award trophee that KK as always feeld impulsed to

attribut to some figures they treasure. Over the last two years of the specific

project of La.Ga.

So the new object was not anymore a bag since the up comming stage, but

a trophee object, as La.Ga became a canvas after the first White edition via

"To Love Is Not An Option". The fate of being dressed, that alwayas drive Krv

Kurva, wants to take it to this last layers of communication. A daily possible

use of a trophee, an Award passed by the designer to his public to the

figures they treasure.

Krv Kurva set in this base, ACRO_LAB, the Acrobatic Laboratory for KK

design, and this was a first project inside this LAB.

At the time Jorge Moita, was at Fabrica as invited designer and researcher in

the 3D department, and in the same team of Pedro Ferreira and Rita João,

the blink was done.

PedritaStudio assumed the development of shape backstaged in production

and concept development by the Studio KK, for the new garment.
